Fried Provolone Valpadana P.D.O. mild sandwich with tomato and lemon salad

for 2 people – difficulty: average – preparation time: 30 minutes


2 Slices of 2cm thick Provolone Valpadana PDO mild
4 Slices of sandwich bread
2 Eggs
Frying oil
2 Coppery tomatoes
A lemon
Extra virgin olive oil


Insert the suitably pared slices of mild Provolone Valpadana PDO between two slices of sandwich bread. Pass it all in the beaten eggs first and then in the breadcrumbs. Make the breadcrumbs stick well.

Fry in abundant seed oil until golden brown. Salt and dry on absorbent paper.

Cut the tomatoes and season them with oil and salt, also cut the lemon slices.

Serve with the salad on the bottom of the plate and with the Provolone Valpadana PDO fried sandwich immediately above, enjoy your meal!
